Some poses require you run the same pose two times. Your sim will have a pose in queue for their actions, click off the old pose queue and let it move to the second queued pose you just selected. If you are 100% sure you wrote the name correctly, click the pose player again and select “Use current pose”. Trouble shooting: You typed in the code but your sim didn’t do anything? Check that you wrote the pose name correctly. Capitalization counts for the pose player. Hit shift+control+c and type in moveobjects on. Next, I highly recommend using the cheat “moveobjects on”. Purchase it and place it somewhere on your lot that you can easily access. Once you have downloaded and installed the Pose Player, you can find it in your game by going to buy/build.

You have to download the custom poses and install them the same as the pose player. If you want more poses than the default game poses (which are listed on comoney’s page), you need to download those as well.

You can download it here, at Mod the Sims. The pose player is a program written by cmomoney for Sims 3. I have an ask box filled with questions about the Pose Player so I thought I would write a small guide about where to find it, how to install it and how to use it.
